01. Who we are
Heartbeats & Chaos Studio is an independent, unregistered, human-operated creative studio based in Alberta, Canada. It is not incorporated or officially registered. The human studio owner operates this website. This policy covers the public studio website and enquiries sent to the studio. The studio owner is the contact for privacy matters: heartbeatschaosstudio@gmail.com.
02. The website at launch
The launch website has no visitor accounts, contact form, newsletter, mailing list, analytics, third-party media embeds, advertisements, direct sales, or payment processing. The website code does not set cookies or use browser storage. No public game or music downloads are offered yet. Separate releases may need their own privacy information.
03. Hosting and technical information
The selected launch host is Cloudflare Pages on its free plan, initially using a pages.dev address. When you visit the hosted site, Cloudflare may process technical information such as your IP address, request details, timestamps, and browser information to deliver and protect the site. Hosting-related processing is separate from visitor analytics, which the studio has not enabled. Provider security features may have their own data or cookie behaviour; the studio does not promise that hosting involves no data collection. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
04. Email and how information is used
If you email the studio, your email address, message, and any details or attachments you choose to send are used to respond to your enquiry and handle related follow-up, permission requests, or concerns. The published address uses Gmail; email is processed through Google and your own email provider. Please send only information needed for your enquiry and avoid sensitive information. Contacting the studio does not subscribe you to marketing.
05. Providers, retention, and security
Hosting and email providers may process information outside Canada. Canadian-only storage is not promised. Provider processing locations and service-specific retention periods have not been verified for this launch configuration; no fixed periods or locations are asserted here. The studio has not yet established a fixed email retention schedule. Requests about stored correspondence can be sent to the owner for review, subject to applicable obligations and provider limitations. No internet service or email transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
06. Your requests and concerns
Contact heartbeatschaosstudio@gmail.com to ask about personal information held by the studio, request access or correction, ask about deletion or withdrawal of consent where applicable, or raise a privacy concern. Describe your request without sending identity documents initially; proportionate identity verification may be needed. Applicable rights, exceptions, and response periods depend on the law. Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act may apply, and federal PIPEDA may apply to relevant cross-border commercial activities. You may raise an unresolved concern with the appropriate privacy regulator; see Alberta privacy complaint guidance.
07. Changes and outstanding details
This policy describes the approved launch configuration. Hosting settings, provider retention information, and the studio's email retention procedure remain to be confirmed operationally. The policy will need updating when those details are confirmed or if accounts, analytics, embeds, downloads, sales, or other data practices change.
